ComCo Southeast Asia is announcing the bloggers who emerged as the Top 40 finalists for “Write to Ignite Blogging Project”.

The “Write to Ignite Blogging Project”, ComCo Southeast Asia’s latest initiative co-presented by Eastern Communications and sponsored by Electrolux, Jobstreet, and Teleperformance, is a response to the need of our times, as every story comes a very long way during this period of crisis. An initiative open to bloggers in the Philippines, it aims to highlight the human spirit by encouraging them to share their reflections and personal plights during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The initiative received an overwhelming response from the blogging communities all over the Philippines. More than 70 bloggers from Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan, Baguio, Ilocos Sur, Cebu, Davao, Albay, Dumaguete, Iligan, Iloilo, Quezon Province, General Santos, and Bacolod participated in the project and shared their experiences and life lessons amidst the crisis.

In no particular order, the top 40 finalists of “Write to Ignite Blogging Project” are:

Exciting prizes await for the finalists of “Write to Ignite Blogging Project”. Prizes include:

Grand Champion:      PHP 20,000 + Electrolux CompactGo Bagged Vacuum Cleaner
+ Merchandise Items from Participating Brands

1st Runner-up:         PHP 15,000 + Electrolux CompactGo Bagged Vacuum Cleaner
+ Merchandise Items from Participating Brands

2nd Runner-up:         PHP 10,000 + Electrolux CompactGo Bagged Vacuum Cleaner
+ Merchandise Items from Participating Brands

4th to 10th place:      PHP 1,500 + Merchandise Items from Participating Brands

11th to 20th place:    PHP 1,000 + Merchandise Items from Participating Brands

Each of the top 3 winners will also win for a cause as part of their prize is the opportunity to donate PhP 10,000 to any of the charitable institution or non-government organization (NGO) accredited by ComCo Southeast Asia. These are Humanility, PGH (Philippine General Hospital) Medical Foundation, and World Vision Philippines’ COVID-19 Emergency Response.

Write to Ignite Blogging Project entries were screened and evaluated by a board of judges composed of distinguished professionals from the communications, marketing and advocacy fields. Chaired by ComCo Southeast Asia’s Regional Integration and Chief Executive Director Ferdinand Bondoy, the board of judges include:
